Washington (dbTechno) - According to U.S. Senator Charles Grassley, the pharmaceutical company Wyeth paid to have positive articles written about their drugs in medical journals. Sen. Grassley is a Republican from Iowa and has been probing into this case for quite some time.
He started by looking into a medical writing company known as DesignWrite.
The Effects Of High-Dose Vitamin C On Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Patients
Scientists at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Jefferson’s Kimmel Cancer Center have received approval for a first-of-its kind study on the effect high dose vitamin C has on non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients. Researchers from the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine and Kimmel Cancer Center in conjunction with the National Institutes of Health will study whether high doses of vitamin C can slow the progression of the deadly disease.

Estrogen therapy is about the last thing you’d expect a doctor to prescribe for a woman with breast cancer: The hormone is famous for coaxing tumors to grow, not shrink. But in a new study, one out of three postmenopausal women with advanced cancer who were given a daily dose of estrogen saw their tumors slow to a stop, and in some cases, even get smaller.
